I have great pleasure in introducing the Salford Link Project.

In our present economic and political climate it is all too easy to set aside the needs of minority groups that is why the Salford Community Relations Link Project has never been needed more. The Link Project strives to bring the unique cultures and needs of the ethnic minority groups to the attention of those who plan and provide services in Salford.
I hope this booklet will become invaluable to the health authority and local authority workers as well as those Salford people who wish to learn more about the ethnic minority groups who have shared and enriched our local community.
